District Realignment Announced by UIL
Lockney will drop to class 1A beginning next fall. The new district that will include Lockney is made up of Crosbyton, Ralls, New Deal, Hale Center and Olton for football. The basketball district will be Lockney, Crosbyton, Ralls, New Deal, Hale Center and Anton.
County rival Floydada will remain in class 2A in a district including Childress, Tulia, Dimmitt, Friona and Muleshoe.
